Dieu Donné is known as a full wedding venue so when you decide on us as the venue for your special day, access to the following is included; On-site co-ordination on your wedding day to ensure a flawless event; exquisitely upholstered high-back chairs to go with our beautiful square wooden tables; our own cutlery, crockery and glassware to ensure quality meals and drinks and a selection of overlays and linen napkins that can be chosen according to taste. Dieu Donné supplies one waiter per 10 guests to ensure everyone is offered world-class standard attention. We pride ourselves on flexibility and nothing is cast in stone so we can easily accommodate any special requests – all included in the price!

Capacity

Dieu Donné has access to two different settings: a Restaurant (that can seat up to 100 guests including a dance floor and 140 guests excluding the dance floor) offering guests the opportunity to have either a small intimate wedding or a big banquet style event. Alternatively, our Terrace setting flowing out onto the lawn area (that can be used as a dance floor) can seat 80 guests. A range of décor options from formal to informal apply to both in and outside areas.

Wedding Co-ordination

Dieu Donné provides a dedicated on-site Wedding Co-ordinator can help you plan the entire event and ensure a flawless wedding.

Catering

The Dieu Donné restaurant is an ideal function venue with ever changing atmospheres, spectacular views and sunsets. This modern cellar-styled restaurant boasts an up-market French Huguenot provincial fare, with unique combination of Afro-Asian dishes. Dieu Donné wines and Dieu Donné beers. We also cater for Kosher and Halaal meals additionally and can assist with any  dietary requirements . Set menus,Buffet and combernation there of are available

Cocktails, canapés and MCC can be served upon arrival or during the photo-shoots on our lawn, overlooking the whole Franschhoek valley.

Dieu Donné has three bar options to choose from; An Open bar, where the account will be based on the total consumption during the reception; a Limited bar where the client can set a limit to the value of drinks consumed or alternatively a Cash bar where all drinks are charged for individually.

We proudly serve Dieu Donné wines during the reception – however, should guests prefer to bring in preselected wines a corkage fee will apply. Dieu Donné also boasts the first micro-brewery in the Cape Winelands and produces three magnificent beers; Ale, Weissbeer and Pilsner.

Entertainment

Dieu Donné has ties to numerous musicians, DJs and entertainers in the area and will be glad to assist you in finding the right person at the very best rates. The entertainers are also more than welcome to visit the venue beforehand to plan their positioning and that of their equipment. We also have access to Eddie Wilson, one of the best photographers in the Winelands, to ensure you have the picture perfect wedding.

Accommodation

Although Dieu Donné does not offer on-site accommodation, we can facilitate accommodation for you and your guests at our sister company’s facilities.
